The idea for this beautiful scarf came out of an annual vacation to Turks and Caicos! It is named for the small town we stayed in on our first trip to the Islands. The lines are reminded me of the sharp lines created by the rocks from decades of waves breaking against them.
It is recommended for ANY medium/worsted (4) weight yarns (Impeccable Camo Tweed was used for the one in the images). Required needle size and approximate yardage are specified in the pattern. It is a great stash buster - less than one mandala can make an entire 60” scarf! This pattern allows the scarf to be customized to any desired size along the long (top) edge - making it an ideal choice for mommy-and-me sets, or for kids!.
The pattern is written for intermediate level knitters. You must be able to cable (or willing to learn on your own!) to successfully complete this project. The pattern has been extensively tested by dedicated individuals to ensure that it as easy to understand as possible. Written stitch explanations are provided. It is written in US terminology.
