It is named for Fogo Island, a place that I’ve been dying to travel to ever since I saw the first photos of it… They’re just breathtaking!
The pattern has been tested by amazing knitters and is easy to read and understand - knowledge of cabling (or willingness to look it up on your own) is a must! Once the first few rows are done, you’ll be able to read your knitting to know exactly where you are, and the simple repeats make this great for a “#Netflix&Knit” make.
Instructions are included for decreasing in the pattern to preserve the look. The pattern has sizes premie through adult large, with brief instructions for further customization. It is ideal for worsted weight / Medium 4 weight yarns. Required needle sizes (US 6 & 8) and approximate yardage for each size are specified in the patterns.
